Hi All

Thank you to all the members who came along to the workshop which George Trebor took last Tuesday.

He went through the Tune "Some Day My Prince Will Come" by Miles Davis We had a thoroughly good time with George who did a great job.

He had us play  some variations  of ¾ rhythms moved across the bar  which started with an 8^th note on beat one followed with an 8^th note on the and after beat two. Variation  two was  move the rhythm over by half a beat so it started on the and of one  these were fairly easy the third variation was to start the rhythm on beat two followed by 8^th note on the and after three  this was slightly more difficult .

He suggested we tried to make use of the above rhythms in our solos to create interest.
