Hi All

Terry Seabrook was our tutor last Tuesday and the emphasis was on the music of Horace Silver who is another great who has left us.

WE played Sister Sadie which is a great swinger followed by the more intricate "Perseverance And Endurance" which as the title suggest is what is needed to play it.  It is written in 7/4 time which is an unusual when one is used to playing in 4/4 3/4 and now and again 5/4 we managed to get it and were doing well by the time we finished

 Terry is with us again this Tuesday and is going continue where we left off last week.

Nights at the Snowdrop Public House in Lewes with different Guest musicians each week.
