Hi all

Our session on Tuesday night with Tommaso  Starace was really good.  We spent the first part of the evening revisiting Jeannine and  Tommaso suggested we could use the dorian mode and  minor pentatonic scales to play over first eight bars of the minor 7th chord to create interest.

After the break we played a beautiful piece "Beatrice "by Sam Rivers. It suggested we improvised using Triad pairs over the major chords an example being over C major use the triads of C and D major.

Which gives one interesting intervals to play around with.

Quite a learning curve but people played nice solos using this technique.

Tommaso's input and encouragement was most appreciated.

This Tuesday Mark Bassey is with us

So please come and join in the fun.

See you Tuesday.
