Hi all

Rod led us through Steve Swallows "Ladies in Mercedes" last Tuesday.  Which is a 32 bar structure and has some unusual chord changes to negotiate along with the Keyboard playing on the off beats and the bass  playing on beats four and the and of two.  Which meant one had to listen very hard to keep the beat?

We then had a brief look at an original blues by Rod which followed the usual chord sequence until the last few which went from 4/4 to 3/3 to 2/4 , Which we will be looking at again this coming Tuesday.

We had a lovely time and had great encouragement from Rod who is with us again this coming Tuesday so get out of that armchair give the champagne dinner a miss and come along and join us for another wonderful evening.
