Hi all
Last Tuesday Geoff Simkins was our tutor and he did a splendid job. He bought along "So Danco Samba" by A.C.Jobin. Who has written some most beautiful compositions.
WE played it as a Bossa Nova and Geoff encouraged us to start our solos on different beats in the bar which is not as easy as it sounds but it does make the soloist and the rhythm section pay attention to the phrasing.
