Hi All

I am sad to say that well known saxophonist and teacher

Simon D'Souza has passed away.

Simon was a wonderful musician and teacher and took jazz workshops for us.  Weather he was teaching or on a gig he was always happy and had a great sense of fun...

He will be greatly missed by us all RIP.

 

Last Tuesday Mark was on fine form as was the workshop members

We played "Too Close for Comfort" which we had music for a great swinging song.

 Followed by "Things Are Getting Better" by Cannonball Adderley a 16 bar blues type tune which we learnt by ear.

 this went really well so all in all we had a swinging evening and many thanks to Mark for all he did.
