First; there has been a very positive response to the request to have more people come forward to run the Coop. We will be meeting in the break on Tuesday at The Verdict to set up the new committee and assign tasks. You don't have to be able to go every week to be part of the committee. This means the Jazz Coop lives on.
This Tuesday sees one of (for my money) the countries best lyrical saxophonists, Julian Nicholas, lead the session. I'll forward charts when I get them.
A reminder that one of the Coop's favourite tutors, Mark Bassey, will be playing at The Verdict tonight. And Satruday continues to see lunchtime gigs by Coop bands at The Dome Foyer. Excellent coffee and cakes. 1.00 - 2.00
