Hi all

Geoff Simkins took his second workshop with us last Tuesday and we played the Tune "Alter Ego" by pianist James Williams.

The tune is in two parts, A and B; the B section of the melody is the same as the A section but in a different key.

Geoff suggested you could use chord tones, scales or a combination of both to improvise over the changes.

It was a very good workshop and Geoff gave some lovely demonstrations on how to solo.

Terry Seabrook is with us this Tuesday as our tutor so please come along and increase your jazz abilities.
