Hi all

Geoff Simkins was our tutor last Tuesday. We had a look at "My Delight" by Roland Kirk.

The solo chords were slightly different from the chords for the melody. Geoff had us solo eight bars each and went on to solo over the whole sequence. He also had us solo with the minimum of notes and using rhythmic figures carried over the sequence which can be quite demanding.

Geoff is with us again this Tuesday so please come along to learn and also listen to a great player. Music to follow.
