Hi all

Last Tuesday Angele oversaw a most enjoyable workshop.

The tune "Second Balcony Jump" was played which is based on Rhythm changes; they played the melody and then took solos, on the last time through they played the melody of "Lester leaps in" which was learnt by ear, this is also based on rhythm changes.

The other tune was a traditional Macedonian piece in 7/8 "Jovano Jovanke" which is a good challenge as one gets used to playing in 4/4 most of the time so it is great brain food.

Angele is with us again this Tuesday.
