Hi all
Our second evening with bassist Nigel was a great success.
We Played Blue In Green by Miles Davis a really lovely
Ballard with very interesting and challenging chord changes.
Followed by 500 Miles High by Chick Corea which had a sort of samba feel and an unusual number of bars 18 in all
And a much faster tempo than the previous tune but was fun to play.
It also highlights that is can be just as much of a challenge to play well on a slow tempo as well as a fast one.
This coming Tuesday we have Mark Bassey as our tutor.
