hi dave,
we had a good session yesterday, and i'm looking forward to next tuesday's session.
i have suggested people try and work out 'blues in the closet' in 4 additional keys. the tune consists of one phrase, repeated 3 times. except the 2nd phrase has a minor 3rd for the first half of the phrase to accommodate the dominant 7 of the IV7 chord). i promise it gets easier once you have tried it in 3 keys :-/
so, the concert people will try the tune in F, Bb, G and D
the Bb people will try the tune in G, C, A and E
the Eb people will try the tune in D, G, E and B
the other tune i'd like us to do is 'morning'' by clare fisher
see you tuesday,
angèle
