Hi all

Geoff Simkins took the workshop last Tuesday and we had a good turnout of members which is nice to see.

Geoff took the class through a beautiful tune "Sometime Ago" which is a  jazz waltz;

In essence it is a simple tune to play but has a strong melody and a number of II-V7 and I-V7sus chords which really flow well together.

As expected Geoff gave good advice on how to approach soloing effectively through the changes.

This Tuesday well known Brighton bass player Nigel Thomas will take the workshop.

So seeing it has been very sunny today I expect a large number of beautifully tanned members to participate tomorrow night.
