The superb trumpet player Gary Kavanagggg takes the workshop next
week. I will let youknow what tunes he is doing when I hear. This
Saturday the lovely Patrick will be leading a band at the Dome Foyer
which is now doing light food and superb coffee. This Friday sees one
of the Co-ops longest standing and favourite tutors / players Julian
Nicholas at the Jazz Club at the Komedia. He has a brilliant band and
it is guaranteed to be a really good night. Don't forget to ask for
your Co-op discount. See you there.
And finally, bookings are enthusiastically dribbling in for the Easter
Saturday Jazz-Rock workshop with Alex Maguire. He will be doing some
Robert Wyatt tunes from the tour he did with Gilad Atmon. If that does
not push all your buttons then there is no hope for the world. Email
me if you want a place. It will be at the Corn Exchange kindly donated
for the day by the Dome. £20 in advance. Cheep as chips.
