Brighton Jazz Course

Hi Everyone,

ATM (Access to Music) have asked me to run and co-write a new Jazz
Course here in the Centre of Brighton starting in September.  It
really is exciting news.  Brighton has been crying out for a full-time
jazz course and finally, it looks like it is going to happen.  It is
subject to pupil numbers, they need approximately 20 students for it
to run.  They are thinking of buying new premises in Brighton and are
offering the course free (through various funding) for 16-19 year olds
and the unemployed.  It will also be heavily subsidized to people on
benefits or who are retired.  It is going to be fantastic, the four
tutors (one of which will be yours truly) will be local Jazz Musicians
and Teachers that have fantastic reputations both as players and
educators.  If you live out of town, don't worry, the Government will
support you by giving you a grant that will cover the rent while you
are studying down here in Brighton.  It is a fantastic opportunity to
study with some of the country's finest jazz musicians while living in
the great city of Brighton and all for not much dosh!
