This Tuesday is another summer jam session at the Open House. Bring
your own selections. The following week there will be no session.

Tuesdays BMJC workshop will be a jam session
Co-opistas
This Tuesdays session will be at the Open House and will be a jam
session. Bring tunes you want to play with parts for others. We will
also have the Co-op tunes. Tutored sessions will resume in the first
week in September as will Saturday lunchtime Dome sessions.

Tuesday sees the second workshop by Trisan Banks. If you have not seen
him in action he is a real must. Up there with the best drummers in
the country. And rhythm is one area where we can all do with some
help. Following that we will be into the summer jam sessions. We have
finished for the summer at the Dome Foyer on Saturday lunch times
until September.

BMJC Tuesdays Workshop

The truely amazing Tristan Banks will be leading the workshop for the
next two weeks. Tristan is himself a graduate of the Coop moving on to
a highly aclaimed professional career in jazz. I saw him at Brecon
Jazz Festival last year. As a drummer he has studied in Brazil and
will be bringing that much neglected element of rhythm to the
Workshop. Essential for all musicians.
The gig at the Dome this Saturday lunchtime will be a trio with
Corrado, Py and Alice. The second half Linda and Andy Pickett will
join us to make a quintet. Quality and it's free.
