a rare opportunity

Unusually Brighton Jazz Club is hosting a truly international line up this Friday. The band includes three players from New York, as well as top Brit trumpeter and pianist, that are doing a short national tour and BJC is one of the lucky venues. I know that I hammer the importance of listening to top players live to improving your own playing but this looks like an outstanding opportunity without having to go to London.

Weekend Workshop

Would anyone be interested in a two day weekend workshop? We could even put on a gig at the end. If interested send in a comment to this entry or let Steve or one on the other committee members know. We will need to know how many are interested. If people have anything particular they would like to do or anyone they would like to have in, e.g. a London based musician.
