Tomorrow night we will be meeting at the Park View and not the Open
House. We were told at short notice that the Open House was pre
booked. As we get it for a pepercorn we can't complain. Geoff will
still be running the session. See you there.

Hello
Brighton and Hove Council are proposing to cut funding to the Brighton and Hove Music & Arts Service by 50% in 2012 and by 100% by 2013. This will have an enormous effect on the opportunities for children and young people in our city to have access to  the wonderful world of playing music, this will also have a great impact on music teachers, choirs and orchestras.
Please would you sign the epetition at the link below and also pass this onto anyone else who may be interested in support this important petition.

This gig gives you the chance to not only see one of the Coops favourite tutors, Mark Bassey who will be running several sessions for us in January, but also an old Coop member turned pro - Charlotte Glasson. Geoff Simpkins will be running our last session of the year next Tuesday. Dots to follow.

No Jazz workshop this week

Due to short notice from the Open House we are having to cancel the
session with Geoff Simkins this week. However we will have our last
workshop before Xmas the following week and you can catch Stewarts
band at the Dome at 1.00 today.

Brighton Jazz Club have their new season for next year published on
their website. Don't forget that Coop members go in at discount rates.
